PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning observation system capable of minimizing reduction of usable life caused by occurrence of short circuit in a conducting part of a scanning endoscope.SOLUTION: An optical scanning observation system includes: an endoscope that has an optical scanning part for scanning a subject with illumination light emitted from a light source part a signal generator that generates a drive signal corresponding to voltage applied to the optical scanning part a first circuit that outputs the drive signal while maintaining the voltage of the drive signal to be input into a prescribed circuit provided between the optical scanning part and the signal generator a second circuit that outputs the drive signal while maintaining the voltage of the drive signal to be output from the prescribed circuit and a comparison circuit that compares the voltage of the drive signal to be input after passing the first circuit with the voltage of the drive signal to be input after passing through the second circuit, and thereby generates and outputs a signal which makes it possible to determine whether or not short circuit occurs between the prescribed circuit and the optical scanning part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】走査型内視鏡の通電部分での短絡の発生に起因する耐用期間の短縮を極力防止することが可能な光走査型観察システムを提供する。【解決手段】光走査型観察システムは、光源部から発せられる照明光により被写体を走査するための光走査部を具備して構成された内視鏡と、光走査部に印加する電圧に応じた駆動信号を生成する信号発生器と、光走査部と信号発生器との間に設けられた所定の回路に入力される駆動信号の電圧を維持しつつ駆動信号を出力する第1の回路と、所定の回路から出力される駆動信号の電圧を維持しつつ駆動信号を出力する第2の回路と、第1の回路を経て入力される駆動信号の電圧と、第2の回路を経て入力される駆動信号の電圧と、を比較することにより、所定の回路と光走査部との間における短絡の発生の有無を識別可能な信号を生成して出力する比較回路と、を有する。【選択図】図1
