PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device capable of acquiring good image quality even when a period of a periodic movement of a subject varies.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging device includes a detection part 27a and an executive part 27b. The detection part detects a synchronization signal indicating a periodic movement of a subject. The execution part executes a pulse sequence in synchronization with the synchronization signal in which data collection is performed when a waiting time elapses after an RF pulse is applied to an area of interest of the subject.
