593403 Disclosed is a combination which comprises (a) methotrexate and (b) an pyridinyl aniline DHODH inhibitor of formula (I). Examples of compounds of formula (I) are: 5-cyclopropyl-2-(2-phenylpyrimidin-5-ylamino)benzoic acid； 2-(6-Cyclopropyl-5-methylpyridin-3-ylamino)-5-methylbenzoic acid and 5-(2-Carboxy-4-cyclopropylphenylamino)-3-methyl-2-phenylpyridine 1-oxide. Also disclosed is the use of the combination in the manufacture of a medicament for treating a pathological condition or disease susceptible to amelioration by inhibition of dehydroorotate dehydrogenase such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondilytis, multiple sclerosis, Wegener's granulomatosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriasis and sarcoidosis. Further disclosed is a package comprising the combination.
