PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath additive composition in which a part of bath additive base agent is enclosed in a capsule and the composition is submerged in a bath to be dissolved in a well-balanced manner with a time-lag.SOLUTION: A bath additive composition is consisting of a granule and/or powder bath additive base agent 1 and capsule 2 enclosing a part of the bath additive base agent. The bath additive base agent is an inorganic salt bath additive base agent 11 consisting of inorganic salts A, bath additive sub-component D and bath additive supplemental component E or carbon dioxide gas type bath additive base agent 12 consisting of alkali salts B, acids C, the bath additive sub-component D and the bath additive supplemental component E. The capsule encloses a part of the inorganic salt bath additive base agent inside of a water soluble capsule skin 20, and entire specific gravity there of is adjusted to 1.01 to 3.0 so that as to be submerged in the bath when it is charge into the bath water.
