PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably apply current to electrodes in a high frequency treatment tool for an endoscope having the electrodes rotatable around a sheath axis.SOLUTION: A high frequency treatment tool for an endoscope comprises: a resin frame 32 having arm parts 32a and 32b for supporting a pair of electrodes and a substantially annular neck part with a recessed annular groove 32d a substantially annular ring member 34 loosely and rotatably fitting in the annular groove and a return electrode 33 mounted to the resin frame with the neck part inserted and having a substantially annular and conductive washer electrode 33c.
