PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bicomponent filament yarn for RFID which can provide gauze for surgery softer than conventional gauze for surgery for RFID and prevent an IC chip from being violated in a bleaching step in production of the gauze for surgery, and to provide gauze for surgery therewith.SOLUTION: Bicomponent filament yarn 1 has core filament 2 and coating yarn 3 coating the periphery of the core filament 2.
