Provided herein are herbicidal compositions and methods utilizing a combination of herbicidally active ingredients, the combination comprising: (a) a compound of the formula (I)or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester of thereof and (b) flufenacet, wherein the weight ratio of (a) to (b) is about 1.25-10 of (a) to about 30-240 of (b), with the proviso that the combination does not include glufosinate, L-glufosinate, bialaphos, or diflufenican.
