PURPOSE: A producing method of a chalcone high content extract using angelica keiskei roots is provided to extract the angelica keiskei roots using alcohol before concentrating and removing water-soluble portions. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a chalcone high content extract using angelica keiskei roots comprises the following steps: extracting the angelica keiskei roots using a solvent at 4-120 deg C for 1-48 hours(1)； concentrating the extract(2)； removing water-soluble portions from the concentrate； collecting and drying water-insoluble portions from the concentrate, and dissolving the obtained powder in water for separating and collecting the water-insoluble portions； and filtering the refined product using C1-6 alcohol. The chalcone is xanthoangelol or hydroxyderricin.본 발명은 신선초 뿌리에서 높은 농도의 칼콘을 함유하는 추출물을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로 더욱 상세하게는, 신선초 뿌리를 탄소수 1개 내지 6개의 알코올 및 이와 물의 혼합용매로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 어느 하나의 용매로 추출하는 단계, 상기 추출물을 농축하는 단계 및 상기 농축물에서 수용성 성분을 제거하는 정제 단계를 포함하는 고함량의 칼콘 추출물을 제조방법 및 상기 방법에 의하여 제조된 고함량의 칼콘 추출물 제조에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 방법은 재배 된 신선초를 수확 한 후 토양에 잔존해 있는 부산물로부터 고함량의 칼콘 소재를 추출 및 제조하는데 효과적이다. 또한 본 발명의 추출물은 고함량의 칼콘이 함유되어 있어, 간 기능 보호 및 항암 효과가 우수하다.
