PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse monitoring device having a communication function using a cellular phone line in spite of a compact wristwatch-like device configuration that can be operated as it is at an installation site or away from home without needing a relay instrument connected to a phone line by sending out pulse information directly to a management apparatus.SOLUTION: In a pulse monitoring device 1 for measuring a pulse of a wearer by a wristwatch-like pulse measuring device 10d and transmitting the measured pulse information to a management apparatus 30, the pulse measuring device 10d includes a wearing sensor for discriminating whether or not the pulse measuring device 10d is worn by a wearer, a pulse sensor for measuring a pulse of the wearer and outputting pulse data as one of the pulse information, and a first communication part in which a voice communication function is omitted, for sending out the pulse information to the management apparatus 30 set beforehand through a cellular phone line 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】腕時計型という小型な機器構成ながら携帯電話回線を用いた通信機能を有し、管理機器に直接脈拍情報を送出することで、電話回線に接続された中継用機器を必要とせず、そのまま設置先や外出先で運用可能な脈拍監視装置を提供する。【解決手段】腕時計型の脈拍測定器10dで装着者の脈拍を測定し、測定した脈拍情報を管理機器30に送信する脈拍監視装置1において、前記脈拍測定器10dは、前記脈拍測定器10dが装着者に装着されたか否かを識別する装着センサと、装着者の脈拍を測定し前記脈拍情報の1つとして脈拍データを出力する脈拍センサと、前記脈拍情報を、携帯電話回線50を通じて予め設定された前記管理機器30に送出する、音声通話機能が省略された第1通信部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
