PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent solid soap which allows effective removal of dirt adhered to pores in the skin and is low in irritation and its production method.SOLUTION: A production method of a transparent solid soap comprises adding an alkali aqueous solution to a mixture prepared by mixing a fatty acid with a lower alcohol and water to saponify the oil and fat so as to obtain a fatty acid soap, adding a transparentizing agent to the fatty acid soap and heating with stirring to obtain a transparent soap basis material and pouring into a frame mold and conducting at least cooling solidification, shaping with the mold and cutting. The temperature of the transparent soap basis material immediately after the heating is 85°C to the temperature just before boiling. Then, the temperature of the transparent soap basis material is decreased to 65-75°C, and the transparent soap basis material is blended with a water-in-oil type cream emulsion or a surfactant for emulsification, solubilization and dispersion of a liquid temperature of 65-75°C and stirred and poured into the frame mold to obtain a transparent solid soap rich in cleaning power and capable of generating fine micro-sized bubble particles.
