PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, reducing artifact regardless of a photographing condition.
SOLUTION: The polarity of the inclination of a gradient magnetic field, which is inclined along a first direction and synthesized with a static magnetic field generated by a magnet, is selected depending on a photographing position. To be concrete, the polarity of the gradient magnetic field Gs is controlled so that the polarity of the photographing position about the first direction is opposite to the polarity of a gradient magnetic field in the photographing position.
