The present invention relates to a new apple cultivar which is bred by selecting a mutant,which has pericarp with the color which is pinkish red and is distributed uniformly all over the surface, has flesh with a sugar content of 14-16 brix, and ripens in the middle of October, from common fuij apples, firstly performing top-working of the mutant on scion rootstock (M9) and then performing top-working of the mutant with respect to the scion rootstock (M9). Therefore, the same genetic characteristics are inherited from a top-working tree to the new apple cultivar, and mass production of the new apple cultivar can be possible. According to the present invention, the new apple cultivar, Ciel fuji, has excellent epiphytism, has flesh with a sugar content higher than a sugar content of a common fuji apple, does not have or rarely has a russet color on a fruit apex of pericarp, a fruit stalk, and an equatorial portion, and has an earlier harvesting season, so that it has competitiveness to common fuji, is evaluated as a high quality apple satisfying taste of consumers, and is expected to contribute to the increase of income of farmers who cultivate apples.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명은 사과 일반후지 계통에서 과실의 과피착색이 전면착색이고 과피착색 색조는 분홍빛 적색, 과실의 과육 당도는 14~16 브릭스 및 과실의 성숙기는 10월 중순인 특성을 지닌 변이체를 적취하여 M9(자근대목)에 1차 고접하고, 이를 다시 M9(자근대목)에 고접하는 과정을 통해 육성되어 고접수에서 동일하게 모수의 유전적 특성이 계승되며 안정적으로 대량생산이 가능한 사과 신품종에 관한 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 사과 신품종 씨엘후지는 착색성이 뛰어나며, 일반후지보다도 과실의 과육 당도가 더 높고, 과피 과정부, 과경부 및 적도부위의 동녹 정도가 없거나 더 적으며, 수확기가 더 빨라서 일반후지에 경쟁력을 가지면서 소비자의 기호에 부응하는 고품질 사과로 평가되어 사과 재배 농가의 소득증대에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
