PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable clothing article capable of adjusting tightness of gathers with full of variation, and a manufacturing method of the disposable clothing article.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 includes an absorber 2, a top sheet 3, a back sheet 4, and gather sheets 5. Each gather sheet 5 includes a base part 9, and a wing piece 11. The base part 9 is overlapped on the top sheet 3 and be fixed. An attitude of the wing piece 11 can be changed from an overlapped state overlapped on the top sheet 3 to an erecting state erecting, with the base part used as a base point 9. The wing piece 11 has a tunnel-like hollow wall 12 formed along the longitudinal direction. One or a plurality of adjustment rubbers 14 are inserted into the hollow wall part 12, and the hollow wall part 12 includes adjustment tabs 16 configured to be separable from the hollow wall part 12, formed on both end parts thereof in the longitudinal direction respectively.
