The present invention relates to a recombinant human monoclonal pentameric IgMantibody comprising the following characteristics: capability of oligospecific binding to purified ganglioside epitopes GD3, GM3, GD2 and GM1 and capability of specific binding to malignant cancer cells selected from the group consisting of melanoma cells, small cell lung cancer cells, glioblastoma cells, estrogen receptor-negative metastatic breast cancer cells. The invention further relates to a cell line producing the IgM antibody and to the use of the IgM antibody as a diagnostic tool and/or as a therapeutic agent.La présente invention concerne un anticorps IgM pentamère monoclonal humain recombiné comprenant les caractéristiques suivantes : la capacité à se lier oligospécifiquement à des épitopes des gangliosides purifiés GD3, GM3, GD2 et GM1 et la capacité à se lier spécifiquement à des cellules cancéreuses malignes choisies dans le groupe constitué par des cellules de mélanome, des cellules de cancer pulmonaire à petites cellules, des cellules de glioblastome, des cellules de cancer du sein métastatique négatif au récepteur des œstrogènes. Linvention concerne en outre une lignée cellulaire produisant lanticorps IgM et lutilisation de lanticorps IgM comme outil de diagnostic et/ou comme agent thérapeutique.
