PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus which can perform imaging in a dynamic range suitable for a subject.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus comprises a beam splitter 4, a detector 14 which detects a radiation passing through the beam splitter and a subject 6, and a processing unit 16 which generates image data representing information on the inside of the subject on the basis of data obtained by the detector. A first distance being a distance between the beam splitter and the subject can be changed.
