The present invention relates to a medicament delivery device (10) comprising a housing (12, 14)； a medicament container holder (38), arranged movable in relation to said housing (12, 14) and capable of accommodating a medicament container (42)； an activator (98) arranged in said housing and capable of, upon activation, acting on a medicament container for expelling a dose of medicament, said activator comprising a plunger rod (106)； a manually operable dose setting nut (58) rotatably connected to said housing and arranged with threads (56), threads (54) arranged on said medicament container holder (38) being arranged to cooperate with said dose setting nut (58), wherein operation of said dose setting nut (58) will cause the medicament container holder (38) with the medicament container (42) to move towards said plunger rod (106) for setting a dose of medicament to be delivered.
