PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull-up absorbent article excelling in a covering property of the buttocks and hardly causing slip-off and worsening of appearance while wearing in spite of the pull-up absorbent article efficiently manufacturable with a wrapping material divided into an abdomen side sheet member and a back side sheet member.SOLUTION: The pull-up absorbent article 1 includes the abdomen side sheet member 2A, the back side sheet member 2B, and an absorbent body 3 fixed across them. The abdomen side sheet member 2A and the back side sheet member 2B include body parts 20a and 20b and extended parts 21a and 21b expanded/contracted in the width direction of a diaper. When the extended part 21b of the back side sheet member 2B is divided into an upper back side extended part B4 and a lower back side extended part B5, the upper back side extended part B4, and a portion corresponding to the upper back side extended part B4 in the abdomen side sheet member are greater in contraction stress in an article width direction per unit length in an article longitudinal direction than the lower back side extended part B5.
