To provide a small portable electrolytic device that can be stored in a handbag and can be carried around.SOLUTION: The electrolytic device comprises a water tank 2, an electrolytic part 5 constituted at least of a first electrode 6A and a second electrode 6B disposed in the water tank 2 to electrolyze water flowing from the water tank 2, a power source 3 that supplies the electrolytic part 5 with an electric power, a controller 7 that inverts the polarity of the electric power of the power source 3 to control the power supply to the first electrode 6A and the second electrode 6B, and a spray mechanism 4 for spraying water electrolyzed by the electrolytic part 5, and thereby can control the power supply to the first electrode and the second electrode and hence can generate two kinds of active species. The first electrode is constituted of an ozon generating electrode and the second electrode is constituted of a chlorine-compound generating electrode that produces water containing a chlorine compound, and thereby ozon and hypochlorite can be generated. Each of the active species can suitably be used according to an individual object, and therefore a sterilizing and deodorizing performance can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】ハンドバッグ等に収容して持ち歩く携帯用として小型の電解装置を提供する。【解決手段】水タンク部２と、水タンク部２内に設置され、水タンク部２から流入した水を電気分解する少なくとも第１の電極６Ａと第２の電極６Ｂで構成された電解部５と、電解部５に電力を供給する電源部３と、電源部３の電力極性を反転させて第１の電極６Ａと第２の電極６Ｂへの電力供給を制御する制御部７と、電解部５で電解された水を噴霧する噴霧機構部４を備えたことにより、第１の電極と第２の電極への電力供給が制御できるので、２種類の活性種を生成することが可能となる。第１の電極はオゾン発生電極で構成して、第２の電極は塩素物質を含む水を生成する塩素物質発生電極で構成することで、オゾンと次亜塩素酸を生成することが可能となる。対象物によって、各々の活性種を使い分けることができ、除菌や消臭性能を向上できる。【選択図】図１
