A counter assembly includes a first housing half, a second housing half, astationarypost, a counting wheel, an actuation wheel, and an actuator. The stationarypost is positionedwithin the first housing half and includes a plurality of locking teeth. Thecounting wheelincludes indicia. The actuation wheel includes a plurality of actuationfeatures and a pluralityof inner fingers configured to selectively engage with the plurality oflocking teeth of thestationary post. The engagement of the plurality of inner fingers and theplurality of lockingteeth prohibit multidirectional rotation of the counting wheel. The actuatorincludes aprotrusion projecting therefrom. The actuator is positioned to translatebetween a proximalposition and a distal position. The protrusion of the actuator engages theplurality of actuationfeatures to rotate the counting wheel to adjust the indicia thereof when theactuator transitionsfrom the proximal position and the distal position.
