Compressed peat and peat composts - contg. polyurethane foam-producing flocks mixed with animal hair and fertiliser soln. Peat, pref. black peat, is mixed with 20-35 wt.% of polyurethane foam-producing flocks and packed in a compressed moist state and stored in that condition. It may, as in the parent patent be mixed with animal hair and/or liquid fertiliser soln. By incorporation of sand and other inorganic or organic material a complete soil compost is obtainable.
