摘要:
Described is a semi-fixed catheter for the treatment of peritoneal dialysis which may be changed without requiring a surgery, reducing the risk of infection, the same including an easy maintenance and being adjusted to any type of patient, the catheter having three devices, one being implanted and fixed, the second may be changed or adjusted at any moment and the remaining device being a stopper these three devices together comply with the aforementioned purposes. The first device is a semi-rigid silicone intraparietal tunnel tube, which has an outlet to the peritoneum and other to the exterior, having two ring-shaped Dacron pads in the intraparietal part, these pads or rings causing an inflammatory response that is increased in order to allow the fibrous and granulation tissue to grow in approximately one month, thus favouring the attachment of the inventive device. The second device is a soft silicone tube for the liquid flow, which has a suitable diameter so as to be introduced in to the semi-rigid tunnel tube, where the distal end portion is located in the peritoneal cavity and the proximal end portion in the outer portion of the peritoneum, the apex of the distal intraperitoneal end portion having an orifice and lateral grooves for facilitating the flow of the dialysis liquid to the outer portion of the peritoneal cavity and vice versa. The distal end portion of this tube is radio opaque to X rays. The proximal end portion of this tube located in the exterior has a connector for setting an extender suitable for the system to be used. The third device is a soft silicone tube sealed at the tips thereof, which has a diameter and length suitable to be introduced into the intraparietal semi-rigid tube, thus acting as a stopper when the tube that facilitates the flow of the liquid for the dialysis is removed.Esta invención se refiere a un catéter semifijo para el tratamiento de diálisis peritoneal que se puede cambiar sin necesidad de cirugía, disminuye el riesgo de
