An apparatus and a method for detecting information on a living body, and a wearable device are disclosed. The apparatus for detecting information on a living body includes a main body, a biometric sensor, an impedance measurement part, and a processing part. The biometric sensor is disposed on one surface of the main body and detects biometric information on a subject. The impedance measurement part includes a plurality of biometric electrode pairs disposed around the biometric sensor. Biometric impedance is measured through each of the plurality of biometric electrode pairs. Then, the processing part calculates a biometric impedance ratio using the biometric impedance measured by the impedance measurement part, and determines the validity of biometric information detected by the biometric sensor based on the calculated biometric impedance ratio.
