Each side panels is fixed to two adjacent side panels along complementary mitered edges provided with interlocking male protrusions (95, 96) and female indentations (92, 93). The side panels (12 - 15) are fixed to the end panels (16, 17) by portions of the side panels that mate with complementary channels provided by the end panels and locking mechanisms. The device (10 300) further includes a heating system (11: 311) located either inside or outside the enclosure for providing heated air and circulating the heated air inside the enclosure for killing any insects that may be infesting items placed inside the device. The interior of the enclosure may be provided with racks (215) and hanger rods (62) for supporting items placed inside the enclosure. The interior of the enclosure may be provided with mechanisms (78, 79, 80) for directing the flow of hot air inside the enclosure.
