The device has a retaining bracket (9) that is extended perpendicular to a slope, and a container (1) e.g. hydropack(RTM: not defined), containing a substrate and vegetation. A base of the container is stooped on the bracket to maintain the container on the slope. A cable (10) is integrated to the retaining bracket, where the cable has an upper part fixed to a slopping roof (8) or fitted at a saddle on a ridge of the slopping roof for being extended along the slope. The upper part of the cable has a loop that is fastened to a hooking system on the roof. An independent claim is also included for a vegetation method for sloping roof in a building.
