PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage unit and a refrigerator, which are capable of effectively sterilizing floating microorganisms.SOLUTION: Cold air in a refrigeration chamber 2 is taken through a cold air return port 10 into an ion generation chamber 45 installed behind the refrigeration chamber 2, and a voltage is applied to a needle electrode 11a disposed above the ion generation chamber 45 to produce a corona discharge, which releases positive and negative ions substantially parallel to the cold air flowing in the direction of an arrow B2, thereby reducing the disappearance of ions caused by collision with wall surfaces, allowing ions to arrive in a wide range to lengthen a period of contact between cold air and ions, thus improving sterilization performance.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】効率良く浮遊菌を殺菌できる貯蔵庫及び冷蔵庫を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】冷蔵室2の背後に設けられたイオン発生室45に冷蔵室2内の冷気が冷気戻り口10から取り込まれ、イオン発生室45の上部に配された針状電極11aに電圧を印加してコロナ放電によりプラスイオンとマイナスイオンとを矢印B2方向に流通する冷気と略平行に放出することにより、壁面との衝突によるイオンの消失を低減するとともに、広い範囲にイオンが到達することにより冷気とイオンとの接触期間を長くして殺菌能力を向上させる。【選択図】図4
