In this case, a full-layer "bridge" skin flap is formed from 3 to 9 hours at the lower pole of the areola 1 cm wide, while the pedicles at the lateral and medial bases are preserved to 7 mm. Then this flap is moved to the upper pole, where by means of it the skin defect is replaced from the descent of the nipple-areola complex.
