PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth accelerator capable of immediately exerting a growth accelerating effect stably irrespective of the environment of the soil upon application, and capable of being stored stably for a long period of time upon storage.SOLUTION: A plant growth accelerator is obtained by depositing vegetable oil or fat 11 to a porous material 12, and the plant growth accelerator is characterized in being obtained by mixing the porous material 12 to which the vegetable oil or fat 11 is deposited, and a porous material 22 to which a lipid degrading aerobic bacterium 21 is deposited.
