The present invention provides a dressing material capable of generating power and manufacturing method thereof, with which a substrate is coated with a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer, respectively, in such a manner that the location of the second conductive layer is kept away from the location of the first conductive layer, and a plurality of second electrodes of the second conductive layer are staggered with a plurality of first electrodes of the first conductive layer. After the substrate is immersed by a solution, the substrate can be attached on the human skin so that the solution that has been absorbed by the substrate is kept on the first and second conductive layers, thereby forming a voltage difference between each of the first electrodes and each of the second electrodes in the solution for spontaneously discharging electricity to the human skin.
