The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for long term electrocardiogram acquisition and stress analysis which measures and records data continuously in real time for 168 hours (seven days) or more using an electrocardiogram and monitoring apparatus for a person under test and obtain only pure psychological stress states where stress signals caused by movements are eliminated. The present invention provides a long term electrocardiogram acquisition and stress analysis apparatus which comprises: an electrocardiogram sensor in contact with the skin of the person under test a signal processor to continuously store electrocardiogram signals sensed by electrocardiogram sensor in real time and a stress analysis device to analyze a psychological stress of the person under test from the electrocardiogram signals transmitted from the signal processor, wherein the signal processor comprises: a filtering and amplifying part to filter and analog-amplify the electrocardiogram signals sensed by the electrocardiogram sensor an accelerometer to sense three axial acceleration data according to the movements of the person under test a microcontroller to receive the analog-amplified electrocardiogram signals via a connection terminal from the filtering and amplifying part, converting the received signals into digital signals, acquiring and storing electrocardiogram data from the electrocardiogram signals, receiving the three axial acceleration data via the accelerometer, synchronizing the received acceleration data with the electrocardiogram signals in real time, and transmitting the synchronized data to the stress analysis device and a memory part to synchronize the electrocardiogram data with the three axial acceleration data in a time domain and storing the synchronized data under the control of the microcontroller.COPYRIGHT KIPO
