A hyperbaric dressing comprising: an enclosing layer 4 impermeable to a first fluid, for forming an enclosure around damaged tissue, an absorbent layer 6 contactable with the damaged tissue, absorbent to a first fluid and arranged such that in use it is situated within the enclosure, and a fluid conduit 8 for delivery of a second fluid to the enclosure, in which the fluid conduit 8 is arranged such that it extends into the enclosure and is spaced from the damaged tissue. The dressing may include an opening 12 in the absorbent layer 6 in which the end of the fluid conduit 8 is positioned. The conduit 8 can be used to supply oxygen to the wound.
