The invention relates to the compound of formula (I) more particularly in its laevorotatory (la) form, in particular that having the rotatory power [.alpha.] D = -38.6 + 0.7 at a concentration of 0.698 mg / ml in methanol. The compound may exist in the form of a base or an addition salt with an acid, in particular a pharmaceutically acceptable acid. This compound is a selective inhibitor of Aurora A and B kinases.
