The present invention provides an apparatus for puffing grain which can use various power sources and have a simplified structure. The apparatus includes: a cylinder having a screw thread formed along an inner side thereof； a screw which is engaged with the screw thread and rotates in the cylinder； and a power connection part which is connected with the screw and is exposed to the outside of the cylinder to be detachably connected with an external power source.
