PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna array device capable of enhancing the reception efficiency of a microwave impulse signal, and to provide an abnormal tissue detector.SOLUTION: An antenna array 13 has an array of a plurality of antennas Ak(k=1-16) which transmit and receive microwave impulse signals. The antenna array 13 is formed so that the reception environment of microwave impulse signals is the same in a combination of antennas (Am, An) for transmission and reception where the relative distance of one antenna Am and the other antenna An is the same. The antenna array 13 is further provided with a plurality of dummy antennas B1-B20 having an impedance equivalent to that of each antenna Ak.
