PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for precisely performing modeling on a part where a subject makes contact with the other object.

SOLUTION: A modeling apparatus is equipped with a means for acquiring a standard model on the subject, a temporary region extracting means for extracting a temporary region KR including a subject region corresponding to the subject from measurement data, and a model creating means for creating a model on the subject by transforming the standard model by a model fitting method. The model creating means degenerates the temporary region to acquire a separating point in separating the temporary region and peripheral information on the vicinity of the separating point and obtains a virtual contact point Tk of the part where the subject region Br1 makes contact with the other region Vr1 in the temporary region KR from the acquired separating point and the peripheral information. Then, a corresponding representative point corresponding to the contact point Tk is determined out of a plurality of representative points on a surface of the standard model, and the standard model is transformed to optimize an evaluation function including elements on a distance between the contact point Tk and the corresponding representative point.
