Crystalline polymorphic forms of a compound of formula N-[4-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]-4-methoxybutyramideare described. The two polymorphic forms, named polymorphic Form A and polymorphicForm B, can be used in the treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism and have verygood stability. Methods for preparing the polymorphic forms are also described.
