The present invention relates to uses for osteoarthritis treatment of Jeju lava seawater and, more specifically, to drug uses and quasi-drug uses (bathing agents) for preventing, alleviating or treating osteoarthritis of a composition including Jeju lava seawater or a concentrate thereof as an active ingredient. In addition, the present invention relates to a use as an adjuvant for enhancing the effect of diclofenac of a composition comprising Jeju lava seawater or a concentrate thereof as an active ingredient. The composition including Jeju lava seawater as an active ingredient can be beneficially used as a skin external application, a bathing agent or bathing water since the composition can effectively prevent or treat osteoarthritis by containing a certain content of minerals in lava seawater. The composition containing Jeju lava seawater as an active ingredient can be beneficially used as an adjuvant of diclofenac sodium since a synergistic effect is more than twice as high in treating osteoarthritis when combined with Jeju lava seawater in combination with diclofenac sodium which is an anti-inflammatory analgesic agent.본 발명은 제주용암해수의 골관절염 치료 용도에 관한 것으로, 더욱 자세하게는 제주용암해수 또는 이의 농축물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물의 골관절염 예방, 개선 또는 치료를 위한 의약품 용도 및 의약외품 용도(입욕제)에 관한 것이다. 또한, 제주용암해수 또는 이의 농축물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물의 다이클로페낙(diclofenac)의 효과를 상승시키기 위한 보조제로서의 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 제주용암해수를 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물은 용암해수에 특정 함량의 미네랄 성분을 함유함으로써 골관절염을 효과적으로 예방 또는 치료할 수 있는바 피부 외용제, 입욕제 또는 입욕수로 유용하게 사용될 있다. 특히, 소염진통제에 해당하는 다이클로페낙 나트륨과 함께 제주용암해수를 병용 적용하는 경우 골관절염 치료에 2배 이상 상승적인 시너지 효과를 갖는바, 제주용암해수를 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물은 다이클로페낙 나트륨의 보조제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
