A catheter includes a hollow body which extends longitudinally and has at least one first side window and a probe emitting a wave beam, the first side window allowing the radiation of the beam in a region next to the catheter for generating imaging, the catheter also including a longitudinal guiding device allowing a transmission of a movement to an intervention element, the intervention element moving in at least an area of the beam, the intervention angle between the first intervention element and the axis of the catheter being controlled by a remote control system.Le cathéter (1) comprend un corps creux (2) s'étendant longitudinalement et comporte au moins une première fenêtre (3) latérale et une sonde (23) émettant un faisceau (24) d'ondes, ladite première fenêtre (3) latérale permettant le rayonnement du faisceau (24) selon une région latérale au cathéter (1) pour réaliser une imagerie, ledit cathéter (1) comprenant en outre un dispositif de guidage longitudinal (140, 70, 70', 71, 74, 141) permettant une transmission d'un mouvement à un élément d'intervention (13, 13'), ledit élément d'intervention (13, 13') se déplaçant dans au moins une zone du faisceau (24), l'angle (8, 48) entre le premier élément d'intervention (13, 13') et l'axe du cathéter (1), appelé « angle d'intervention », étant piloté par un moyen de pilotage à distance (73, 44, 770).
