PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursing care assisting device which is advantageous to change postures of a person in need of nursing care between the supine position and the lateral position.SOLUTION: The nursing care assisting device 1 has a rectangular shape extending in the lateral direction in a plan view and a symmetrical shape and a structure. The device 1 has both a pair of right and left knee rest spaces 3 and a pair of right and left side walls 4 separated by a central partitioning wall 2, and an outer surface 4a of each side wall 4 comprises a rising surface extending vertically. In the bottom surface 5 of the device 1, both side parts 5a in the longitudinal direction and end parts 5b in the front-to-back direction comprise curved surfaces or slanting surfaces, and a central part 5c comprises a horizontal surface.
