PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which is used for oral cavities, contains a sugar alcohol aqueous solution dispersion of fine particles encapsulating a water-slightly soluble pharmaceutically effective ingredient, is excellent in retainability in the oral cavities, preparation storage stability and pharmaceutically effective releasability, and can prevent and improve oral cavity troubles such as dental caries, periodontal diseases and foul breathes especially by impregnation and retention into dental plaques, dissolution of calcium carbonate outer shells with an acid produced from the dental plaques, and the release of the encapsulated pharmaceutically effective ingredient, and to provide a method for producing the sugar alcohol aqueous solution dispersion of calcium carbonate-coated water-slightly soluble pharmaceutically effective ingredient fine particles.SOLUTION: This composition for the oral cavities is characterized by compounding the sugar alcohol aqueous solution dispersion of the calcium carbonate-coated water-slightly soluble pharmaceutically effective ingredient fine particles, prepared by replacing, by a sugar alcohol aqueous solution, the aqueous phase of the aqueous dispersion of the calcium carbonate-coated water-slightly soluble pharmaceutically effective ingredient fine particles having an average particle diameter of 30 nm to 5 &mum and obtained by mixing (A) a water-slightly pharmaceutically effective ingredient aqueous dispersion containing the water-slightly pharmaceutically effective ingredient and an emulsifier with (B) an aqueous dispersion of calcium carbonate fine particles having a volume-average particle diameter of 1 nm to 1 &mum in a [calcium carbonate in the component (B)]/[(the water-slightly soluble pharmaceutically effective ingredient + the emulsifier) in the component (A)] mass ratio of 1/1 to 10/1.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【解決手段】(A)水難溶性薬効成分と乳化剤とを含む水難溶性薬効成分の水分散液と、(B)体積平均粒径1nm~1μmの炭酸カルシウム微粒子の水分散液とを、(B)成分中の炭酸カルシウム/
