PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher which prevents the scattering of grains to the outside of the thresher and the intrusion of the grains into first threshed grains associated with opening and closing of a side cover, and can efficiently perform maintenance work.SOLUTION: A side cover 10 for closing the side of a handling chamber 4 is attached so as to be switchable in a maintenance posture with the upper side of a thresher body as a fulcrum a clearance 41 for preventing the abutment of a lower part of a flow plate 50 on an upper part of a sidewall 1d during the upward turn of the side cover 10 is formed between a support plate 51 formed at the lower part of the flow plate 50 and the upper part of the sidewall 1d of a sorting chamber 4a located at the lower side of the support plate 51 and a seal part 42 is arranged inside the clearance 41 which closes the clearance 41 at a working posture by making an upper partitioning wall 53 protrusively arranged downward from the support plate 51 abut on a lower partitioning wall 52 erected upward from the sidewall 1d from the outside in a contactable and separatable manner.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】サイドカバーの開閉に伴う脱穀物の機外飛散及び1番物中への混入を防止すると共に、メンテナンス作業を能率よく行うことができる脱穀機を提供する。【解決手段】扱室4の側方を閉鎖するサイドカバー10を、脱穀機体上部側を支点にメンテナンス姿勢に切換可能に取付けると共に、流板50下部に形成される支持板51と、該支持板51の下方側に位置する選別室4aの側壁1d上部との間に、サイドカバー10の上方回動時に流板50下部と側壁1d上部との接当を防止する隙間部41を設け、該隙間部41の内側に、側壁1dから上方に向けて立設した下仕切壁52に対し、支持板51から下向きに突設した上仕切壁53を外側から接離自在に接当させることにより作業姿勢時に隙間部41を閉じるシール部42を設けた。【選択図】図4
