The present invention relates to a composition for anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, anti-diabetes, whitening and inhibition of gout comprising extract of ruby-s apple peel as an active ingredient. The extract of Ruby-S (Malus pumila Mill.), which is a newly released variety of the present invention, inhibits DPPH, ABTS and TBARs radicals and increases PF to show an anti-oxidant effect, and also suppresses tyrosinase to inhibit melanin production, thus showing a skin-whitening effect. In addition, the composition suppresses an elastase activity to maintain an elastin molecular form, suppresses a collagenase activity to show a wrinkle-reducing effect, and suppresses a hyaluronidase activity to inhibit inflammatory reactions. Furthermore, the Ruby-S apple peel extract suppresses an activity of xanthine oxidase enzyme to show an effect of inhibiting gout (arthritis), and suppresses an activity of α-amylase and α-glucosidase enzymes to show an effect of inhibiting type II diabetes, so that the composition may be valuably used as a pharmaceutical composition, a health functional food, a cosmetic composition and the like.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020본 발명은 루비에스 사과 껍질추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 항산화, 항염증, 항당뇨, 미백, 주름개선, 및 통풍 억제용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 신육성 품종인 루비에스(Ruby-S; Maluspumila Mill.) 사과 껍질추출물은 DPPH, ABTS, 및 TBARs 라디칼을 억제하고 PF를 증가시킴으로써 항산화 효과를 가지며, tyrosinase를 저해함으로써 melanin 생성을 억제하여 피부미백효과를 나타낸다. 또한, elastase 활성을 저해함으로써 elastin 분자 형태를 유지시키고, collagenase 활성을 저해함으로써 주름개선 효과를 나타내며, hyaluronidase 활성을 저해함으로써 염증반응을 억제시키는 효과가 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 루비에스 사과 껍질추출물은 xanthin oxidase 효소의 활성을 저해함으로써 통풍(관절염) 억제 효과를 나타내며, α-amylase와 α-glucosidase 효소활성을 저해함으로써 제2형 당뇨병 억제 효과를 나타내 약학적 조성물, 건강기능식품 조성물, 및 화장료 조성물 등으로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
