According to the invention, an accommodating device (6) for coupling to hook means on the guide unit prior to the guide unit being initially fitted on a first furniture part (1) is designed such that, as the guide unit is being fitted, together with the accommodating device (6) coupled thereto, via fitting means (8) which act between the first furniture part (1) and the accommodating device (6), and are formed thereon, it is possible to achieve automatic connection between the accommodating device (6) and the first furniture part (1) when initial contact between the two is made.
