PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffin made of corrugated cardboard which, although the coffin is made of corrugated cardboard that burns easily and environment-friendly, has sufficient strength as a coffin for storing and carrying a dead body, which can prevent occurrence of warping due to moisture, and which has an enhanced commodity value without impairing the appearance quality.SOLUTION: A coffin 1 made of corrugated cardboard includes a coffin body 2 having an opening 2A and a lid 3 for covering the opening 2A. The coffin body 2 made of a corrugated cardboard material includes: a bottom plate 4C a pair of side face plates 4A, 4A and a pair of end plates 4B, 4B which are installed upright on the periphery of the bottom plate 4C and reinforcing band plates 6, 7 which cover all cutting planes of the corrugated cardboard material which are visible in the box-shaped external appearance. The lid 3 made of a corrugated cardboard material is formed into a predetermined shape, and the periphery of the corrugated cardboard material is covered with reinforcing band plates 8.
