<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal assist appliance of an indwelling catheter, which surely stores a fixture in a body cavity inside an outer tube and pulls it out from a stoma at little force without trouble. <;P>;SOLUTION: The removal assist appliance 1 is provided with: the outer tube 2 to be inserted to the stoma A; and an inner tube 3 for removal to be inserted to the outer tube 2 and to allow the insertion of a tube body 41 in its inside. The outer tube 2 is provided with: an outer tube cutout portion 23 facing the fixture 42 in a body cavity; and a cam 25 helically formed at the rear end. The inner tube 3 for removal includes: an inner tube cutout portion 23 facing the fixture 42 in a body cavity; and an engagement portion 34 to be engaged with the cam 25. The inner tube 3 for removal is inserted to the outer tube 2 which is inserted to the body cavity via the stoma A, so as to be axially rotated and the engagement portion 34 is slid along the cam 25. The inner tube 3 for removal is retracted with respect to the outer tube 2, the fixture 42 in the body cavity is stored inside the outer tube 2, and then, the removal assist appliance 1 is removed from the body cavity.
