A guidewire (1,11,21,31,41) includes a core shaft (2) and a coil body (3) wound around an outer periphery of the core shaft. A distal end portion of the core shaft and a distal end portion of the coil body is fixed to each other to form a most distal end portion. The coil body includes a linear portion and a bent portion (5,15,25,35,45), the linear portion extending in a distal direction from a proximal end of the coil body, the bent portion being provided on a distal side of the liner portion. The core shaft and the coil body located in the bent portion are fixed to each other with a fixing member (6,16).
