The present invention relates to a Bacillus methylotrophicus DR-08 strain having antibacterial activities and producing natural volatile compounds, and a use thereof. According to the present invention, the Bacillus methylotrophicus DR-08 strain which is an antagonistic microbe for controlling plant pathogenic microbe, and secondary matabolites containing antibacterial and antifungal nonvolatile substances and volatile substances produced by the strain are not harmful to humans and animals without causing environmental pollution, and exhibits outstanding controlling functions against various plant pathogenic bacteria and fungus, thereby being useful for controlling various plant diseases in an eco-friendly way.본 발명은 천연 휘발성 화합물을 생산하고, 항균 활성을 가지는 바실러스 메틸로트로피쿠스 DR-08 균주 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 식물병원성 미생물 방제용 길항미생물 바실러스 메틸로트로피쿠스 DR-08 균주와 이 균주가 생산하는 항세균 및 항진균활성 비휘발성물질과 휘발성물질 포함 이차대사산물은 인축에 무해하고 환경오염을 유발하지 않으면서 다양한 식물병원성 세균 및 진균에 대해 우수한 방제활성을 나타내므로 친환경적으로 다양한 식물병을 방제하는데 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
