A cosmetic composition containing an oil mixture in a total amount of from about 40-99 % by weight, in relation to the total amount of the cosmetic composition, without taking into consideration any propellant possibly provided, wherein the oil mixture consists of: at least two selected esters, which are formed from at least one linear or branched saturated or unsaturated monocarboxylic acids with 3-30 carbon atoms, optionally containing one or more hydroxyl groups, and at least one linear or branched , saturated or unsaturated alcohol with 1-30 carbon atoms; at least one linear polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of from about 1 to less than about 20 cSt; PPG-14 butyl ether; and cyclic polydimethylsiloxanes in a total amount, in relation to the total amount of the cosmetic composition, of 0-0.4% by weight; wherein the total amount of the esters in relation to the total oil mixture is about 45-70% by weight and wherein the PPG-14 butyl ether and linear polydimethylsiloxanes are present in a ratio by weight of about 1.2-2.4. Preferred compositions comprise PPG-14 butyl ether, dimethicone 5 cST, 2-ethylhexylpalmitate and isopropyl myristate. The cosmetic compositions are particularly useful in personal care products particularly for antiperspirant aerosols.
