PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for formation of a connective tissue body that realizes accurate cutting of a connective tissue body into a prescribed shape, and to provide a production method for the connective tissue body.SOLUTION: A cutting-plane line forming groove 28 is formed on a surface of a base material 19. The base material is placed in an environment where a biological tissue material exists. A membranal connective tissue body 20 is formed on the surface of the base material 19. At that time, a connective tissue 30 is caused to enter the cutting-plane line forming groove 28. A cutting-plane line 31 in executing a cut process is formed at the connective tissue body 20. The connective tissue body 20 is accurately cut into a prescribed shape along the cutting-plane line 31.【課題】結合組織体を所定の形状に正確に切断加工することのできる結合組織体形成用基材、及び結合組織体の生産方法の提供。【解決手段】基材１９の表面に切断線形成溝２８を形成する。基材１９を生体組織材料の存在する環境下におく。基材１９の表面に膜状の結合組織体２０を形成する。その際、切断線形成溝２８に結合組織３０を侵入させる。結合組織体２０に、切断加工する際の切断線３１が形成される。切断線３１に沿って結合組織体２０を所定の形状に正確に切断加工する。【選択図】 図５
