PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric stimulation device which can more effectively stimulate the brain and more effectively improve the brain functional disorder.SOLUTION: The device includes head electrodes H attached to specified positions capable of stimulating the brain without passing through the brain stem in the region from the neck to the parietal of a patient. The specified positions include the temple parts, the forehead parts above the eyes, the cheeks of the face, the neck rear part, or the like. Electric signals applied to the head electrodes H are set so that 100 μA or less weak current can flow in the body to stimulate the brain. In addition to the stimulation through the specified positions, the stimulus application for example by stimulating the brain through the spinal cord as peripheral nerves with attachment of auxiliary electrodes S on the back is more effective.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】脳に対してより効果的に刺激を与えて、脳機能障害をより効果的に改善できるようにする。【解決手段】患者の首部から頭頂部までの部位で、脳幹を通ることなく脳に刺激を与えることのできる特定位置に装着される頭部用電極Hを備えている。特定位置として、例えば、こめかみ部分、眼の上額部分、顔面の頬部分、首後部分等がある。頭部用電極Hに印加される電気信号が、脳への刺激となる100μA以下の微弱電流が生体に流れるように設定される。上記特定位置からの刺激付与に加えて、例えば背中に補助電極Sを装着して、抹消神経としての脊髄を通して脳へ刺激を与えることもより効果的となる。【選択図】 図8
