The method according to the invention consists in reacting an aqueous solution of a basic amino acid and a solution of O-acetylsalicylic acid in a water-miscible organic solvent. The amino acid has a slight deficiency in relation to stoichiometry. The salt precipitated in a crystalliser (8) through the addition of acetone with vigorous stirring is separated from the liquid medium using a filter (12) and dried. The invention also relates to the composition obtained using said method.
